Specialty Programs at Foundations for Living

In addition to our programs and services for all adolescents, Foundations for Living offers three specialized treatment programs.

Passages Program

For girls in need of mental health treatment, Passages provides a variety of services with a strong emphasis on behavior modification. Females admitted into this program may be struggling with anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance abuse or other mental illness.

Journeys Program

Foundations for Living provides an environment that treats the complex trauma associated with Human Trafficking. Treatment modalities used include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Many of these youth also suffer from drug or alcohol addiction; therefore, we also offer a dual diagnosis unit to treat the emotional/mental health and chemical dependency issues of the youth.

Pregnant Youth Program

Foundations for Living provides treatment and hope for pregnant youth struggling with mental health and/or substance-related disorders. Youth can remain in treatment throughout her pregnancy as well as help her adjust to the changes she is experiencing.

Providing Hope for Youth

If an adolescent you know is struggling and suffering, Foundations for Living is here to help. We provide residential treatment services for troubled adolescents ages 10 through 17 struggling with behavioral health, as well as several specialized services for teen girls.
